So long Summer… bring on Winter training!!!

So… it’s not even September, the kids have yet to go back to school, and we’re already thinking about the Winter training schedule!!

We held the last of our summer social runs last Thursday, and the waning evening light marks a return to pounding the pavements in and around Fleet.

The Social Committee have been hard at work coming up with a few new Thursday routes, and some interesting runs to keep everyone entertained and trained over the autumn and winter months ahead.

Lynne, our Social Secretary says: “A huge thank you to everyone who has led a run over the past few months. You’ve introduced us to some truly fabulous routes – we’ve run through fjords, circled castles, discovered hidden cut-throughs, wandered along boardwalks, and explored secret paths we never knew existed.

And an equally big thank you to everyone who has joined us each week.  The turnout has been fantastic, and the sense of camaraderie, fun, and shared adventure has been a joy to be part of.

But we’re not stopping here… with winter on the horizon, get ready for a new schedule, new routes, head-torches, and plenty more running adventures.  See you out there – let’s make the winter just as unforgettable!”
