Looking for a summer running challenge that’s more party than pain? The Hart 4 Trail Relay is back, and it’s one of the friendliest dates on the local running calendar.
Put on by the Hart4 team (part of Hart Road Runners) Hart4 is built around a simple but brilliant idea: 4 runners, a 4km trail, and 4 laps.
Team up with three friends, colleagues or club mates, then take it in turns to each complete 4 relay laps of the course in the quickest time possible!
The course itself is a traffic-free, off-road 4km lap which winds through the beautiful woods and grassland at Minley Manor near Fleet. This is a proper trail run, with none of the road-running grind.
Whether you’re a seasoned racer or lacing up for your first event, all abilities are genuinely welcome.

The essentials
- When: Sunday 9 August 2026, race starts 10:30am
- Where: Minley Manor, Fleet (just off the M3, J4a) — free parking on site
- Teams: 4 runners per team, in Male, Female or Mixed categories
- Entry: £96 per team (just £24 a head)
- Spot prizes up and down the field, so it’s not all about the fastest legs
There’s a full race village to keep everyone fuelled and entertained, with food and drink available all day. Bring a gazebo, set up base camp, and make a day of it — running clubs and large groups are especially welcome, so the more the merrier.
It’s the kind of event where the cheering between laps is as much fun as the running itself. Get a team together and come and enjoy a cracking morning out on the trails.
