UPDATE: Thank you to all the runners from Fleet & Crookham, Blackwater Valley, and a couple from Farnham Town Runners, who joined our contingent from HRR and turned up tonight to support the Lift the Curfew Run initiative! And a big thank you to Ruth, Nick, Caroline, and John for volunteering to lead the various groups.
We’re proud to be taking part in Lift the Curfew 2026 on Thursday 19th March, joining runners across the country to support a powerful initiative that stands for freedom, safety, and confidence for everyone to run without limits.
Following the success of last year’s event, we’ll once again be teaming up with Fleet & Crookham Athletics Club, Blackwater Valley Runners, and She Strides, alongside the She Can movement, to show the strength of community running and the impact it can have when people come together.
Date: Thursday 19th March 2026
Start / Finish: Prince of Wales Pub
Routes: 6 miles and 4 miles
Pace: Social and inclusive, with regrouping
This is an evening run designed to be welcoming, supportive, and accessible. Whether you choose the shorter or longer route, the emphasis is on running together, looking out for one another, and enjoying the experience as a group.
Lift the Curfew is about far more than mileage. It’s about:
feeling safer when running
building confidence through group running
raising awareness of the barriers some people face when heading out for a run
celebrating the simple right to enjoy running, at any time of day
By running together, we help amplify a message of inclusivity and support, while showing the positive power of the running community.
Everyone is welcome. Whether you’re a regular club runner or new to group runs, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of something meaningful while enjoying a relaxed and social evening out.
Let’s run together, lift the curfew, and have some fun along the way. 💛🏃♀️🏃♂️
