It was the last fixture of the Southern Cross Country League today and despite the date we were able to turnout some runners and a full men’s team. A big well done to our fellas – Danny Chatfield, Stu Meadows, Colin Marshall and Dan Parr – and to our fabulous sole female runner Helen Straker.

Colin reports that the course was quite tricky with a lot of single track paths with quite rutted uneven surfaces. A few small hills and one very steep but short, but nothing too daunting.

We were fortunate with the weather as the sun came out. It was windy but this helped to keep us cool. Bravo team!  by Hannah Hall
