The Rotary Club of Hart are looking for volunteers to help at the Hartley Wintney Village Festival on Saturday 13th June, and they’d love some Hart Road Runners to get involved!
The festival takes place on Oak Common, Hartley Wintney, running from midday to 5pm. There are three volunteering opportunities across the day: Hart-rotary
Morning – Stallholder Runners (09:00–11:30) Three volunteers needed for what is quite literally a running job! You’ll be guiding stallholders’ cars from the reception desk to their unloading areas and pitches. Perfect if you fancy an active start to the day before the festival opens.
Lunchtime – Procession Marshals (~12:15–13:15) Three or more people needed to help marshal the side roads around the procession route, including around the Cricket Green. A great opportunity to be at the heart of the community action.
Afternoon – Road Closure & Donkey Petting Help needed to staff a road closure and assist with the ever-popular donkey petting attraction — taking payments and supervising handwashing.
If you’re free on the 13th and would like to help, please message Lynne directly (via WhatApp or use the blue chat button below). Every pair of hands makes a difference — and you might even catch a bit of the festival yourself!
